Thank you for apologising Stuart. but there’s more to apologise for…

I got up at 3.15am this morning. Don’t really know why apart from my 6 yr old wanting my sleeping space! Anyway… I got downstairs and turned on BBC Parliament – which is often good in the middle of the night. Guess what was on. The CofE General Synod discussing at length whether women will be allowed to be bishops in 2014!!! Pleeease! Women are fantastic. By why do we have to have bishops!!!!?

At least it was on when nobody was watching. Even the Arch bish of York sounded pompous and out of touch… quoting rules and canons …. as if that’s what sets people free or inspires them to follow Jesus!? Ask yourself, WWJD? Surely not this.

Pleeease CofE! If you have to behave like an anachronistic, 13th Century, pompous, neo-chauvinist version of the Sanhedrin….. pleeease do not let anyone film you and broadcast it to the rest of the human race. we just don’t understand.
